Deuteronomy chapter 30 ; 31; 32

God predicts Israel's rejection of their power.

Approaching the day of the death of Moses , he presents in his last speech to the people God's desire that they would follow him confident , obeying him , fulfilling his commandments , then they would be successful , victorious , would reside in the earth in great profit, but to allow the Lord to follow other gods , corrupting herself , would be punished , they would lose the land that now God gives them. Perhaps , if that happened , how it happened, and they repent their sins . " Then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity , and have compassion upon thee , and will return and gather thee from all the nations among which I scattered you the LORD thy God . Even if your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven , from thence gather thee the LORD thy God , and will take you there. " Dt . 30 : 3-4 The Lord is gracious , merciful , righteous in all his ways, and is nigh unto all them that call upon him in truth of heart. Psalm 145 : 8 ; 17; 18 Israel did all that Moses foretold , was punished and scattered throughout the world , back in the days of Nehemiah , but rejected the promised Messiah , Jesus , and returned to be punished . In the seventies was completely destroyed and scattered throughout the earth's universe. To remain faithful to God , there was only one condition not to forget the commandments , for consultation the word of God . " For this commandment which I command you today , you are not veiled, and is it far off ... But the word is very nigh unto thee , in thy mouth , and in thy heart , that you may do ." Dt . 30 : 11; 14 The Apostle Paul quotes it and complements it , claiming to be the " Word of Faith " . Rm . 10 : 8 And King David says : "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against thee ." Psalm 119 : 11 The careful consultation the word of God is strong and prepared to face the wiles of the enemy man of faith , for it is the sword of the Spirit . Eph . 6: 17
Man is not eternal , Moses was a hundred and twenty years already tired of the fights in front of the people , God replaces it with Joshua , this eighty years old , placing it as a leader in this new stage . God invites Moses and Joshua to go into the tabernacle of the congregation and there appears to them in the pillar of cloud , predicts that people will leave him for other gods and he will let them fend for themselves .

The song as a witness of God's care and rejection of the people .

As witness to this fact commands Moses to make a song extolling their exploits and rebelliousness of Israel . " Now therefore write ye this song , and teach it the children of Israel ; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. " Dt . 31 : 19 The first song of Moses and the people were to praise God's deliverance from the Egyptians , a song of joy. Eg 15 All Singing is an expression of the soul , is joy , sadness , safety , repentance , the Psalms portrays very clearly the feelings of the soul .
This is the song of Moses a challenge against the people who rebelled to the Lord God and be punished for it . Cap 32

The extended hand of God to those who repent of their error

But God know the heart of men , knowing that they could not by itself remain faithful to the law, gave them a lifeline , Christ Jesus , because through it , believing it would be redeemed and become a new creature . "Put on therefore , as the elect of God , holy and beloved , bowels of mercies, kindness , humility , meekness , longsuffering ; Forbearing one another , and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another ; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye . And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfection ... The word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom , teaching you and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs , singing to the Lord with grace in your hearts . And whatsoever ye do in word or deed , do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father Col. 3 : 12-14 ; 16-17

Deus prediz a rejeição de Israel ao seu poder.

Aproxima-se o dia da morte de Moisés, ele em seu último discurso apresenta ao povo o desejo de Deus que eles o seguissem confiantes, obedecendo-o, cumprindo os seus mandamentos, eles então seriam bem sucedidos, vitoriosos, residiriam na terra em grande proveito, porém ao deixar o Senhor para seguirem outros deuses, corrompendo-se, seriam punidos, perderiam a terra que ora Deus lhes dá. Porventura, se isso ocorresse, como ocorreu, e eles se arrependessem de seus pecados. “Então o SENHOR teu Deus te fará voltar do teu cativeiro, e se compadecerá de ti, e tornará a ajuntar-te dentre todas as nações entre as quais te espalhou o SENHOR teu Deus. Ainda que os teus desterrados estejam na extremidade do céu, desde ali te ajuntará o SENHOR teu Deus, e te tomará dali”. Dt. 30: 3-4  O Senhor é piedoso, benigno, justo em todos os seus caminhos e perto está de todos os que o invocam em verdade de coração.  Salmos 145: 8; 17; 18  Israel fez tudo o que Moisés predisse, foi castigado e espalhado pelo mundo, voltou na época de Neemias, porém rejeitou o Messias prometido, Jesus, e voltou a ser castigado. No ano setenta foi inteiramente destruído e espalhado por todo o universo terrestre. Para manter-se fiel a Deus, havia uma única condição de não esquecerem os mandamentos, a consulta periódica a palavra de Deus. “Porque este mandamento, que hoje te ordeno, não te é encoberto, e tampouco está longe de ti... Porque esta palavra está mui perto de ti, na tua boca, e no teu coração, para a cumprires”. Dt. 30: 11; 14  O Apóstolo Paulo cita-a e complementa-a, dizendo ser a ”palavra de Fé”. Rm. 10: 8  E, o Rei Davi diz: “Escondi a tua palavra no meu coração, para eu não pecar contra ti”. Salmos 119: 11  A cuidadosa consulta a palavra de Deus faz o homem forte e preparado para enfrentar as artimanhas do inimigo da fé, pois ela é a espada do Espírito. Ef. 6: 17
O homem não é eterno, Moisés estava com cento e vinte anos, já fatigado das lutas, a frente daquele povo, Deus o substitui por Josué, este com oitenta anos, colocando-o como líder nessa nova etapa. Deus os convida, Moisés e Josué, a entrarem na tenda da Congregação e ali aparece a eles na coluna de nuvem, prediz que o povo irá deixa-lo por outros deuses e ele os deixará a própria sorte.

O cântico como testemunha do cuidado de Deus e a rejeição do povo.

Como testemunha desse fato ordena a Moisés que faça um cântico exaltando os seus feitos e a rebeldia de Israel. “Agora, pois, escrevei-vos este cântico, e ensinai-o aos filhos de Israel; ponde-o na sua boca, para que este cântico me seja por testemunha contra os filhos de Israel”. Dt. 31: 19 O primeiro cântico de Moisés e o povo foi para enaltecer o livramento de Deus das mãos dos egípcios, um cântico de alegria. Ex. 15 Todo o cântico é uma expressão da alma, seja alegria, a tristeza, a segurança, o arrependimento, os Salmos retrata com muita clareza os sentimentos da alma.
Esse é o cântico de Moisés um repto contra o povo que se rebelaria ao Senhor Deus e por ele seriam castigados. Cap 32

A mão estendida de Deus para aqueles que se arrependerem do seu erro

Mas Deus conhecendo o coração dos homens, sabendo que não conseguiriam por si só manter-se fiel a lei, deu-lhes uma tábua de salvação, Cristo Jesus, pois através dele, crendo nele seriam resgatados e tornariam uma nova criatura. “Revesti-vos, pois, como eleitos de Deus, santos e amados, de entranhas de misericórdia, de benignidade, humildade, mansidão, longanimidade; Suportando-vos uns aos outros, e perdoando-vos uns aos outros, se alguém tiver queixa contra outro; assim como Cristo vos perdoou, assim fazei vós também. E, sobre tudo isto, revesti-vos de amor, que é o vínculo da perfeição... A palavra de Cristo habite em vós abundantemente, em toda a sabedoria, ensinando-vos e admoestando-vos uns aos outros, com salmos, hinos e cânticos espirituais, cantando ao SENHOR com graça em vosso coração. E, quanto fizerdes por palavras ou por obras, fazei tudo em nome do Senhor Jesus, dando por ele graças a Deus Pai. Col. 3: 12-14; 16-17
